Talamonti tungsten carbide CNC cutting inserts are developed specifically for high-performance automated cutting machines, featuring near-diamond-level hardness (up to HRC 70+ ) and exceptional wear resistance.

These blades are primarily used in conjunction with mainstream European CNC automated cutting systems such as Talamonti to process various high-strength or easily worn industrial flexible and composite materials. 

Core material properties and specifications
The cemented carbide composition is mainly composed of high-purity ultrafine particles of tungsten carbide (WC), supplemented with metallic cobalt (Co) as a binder and sintered at high temperature.
Physical advantages : It has extremely strong wear resistance and bending strength. Even under the high temperature generated by high frequency vibration processing, it can still maintain the sharpness of the cutting edge (red hardness). Its service life is several times that of conventional high-speed steel.

Limitations and brittleness : While cemented carbide has extremely high hardness, it has relatively low toughness, making it prone to chipping due to lateral impacts or hard foreign objects during use. Subsequent maintenance requires specialized diamond sharpening tools , and it is typically considered a high-precision consumable in industrial applications, requiring direct replacement.

These CNC cutting inserts are primarily suitable for leather cutting, automotive interior trim cutting, bag pattern making, and processing of various industrial textile fabrics. Common 
compatible carbide insert specifications include:

Thin-layer cutting blades (such as)Blade 43147) : Specifically designed forcutting the outlines of delicate fabrics, microfiber leather, or paper with a maximum thickness of 2 mm .

Medium thickness buffer cutting blade (such as)Blade 44798 / 42722 Suitable forgenuine leather, sponge composite layers, EVA foam materials, etc. with a thickness of about 8 mm .

Heavy-duty/thick material cutting blades (such as...)Blade 46585) : Suitable for deep cutting of thickened materials, corrugated cardboard or multi-layer composite industrial materials up to 14.3 mm thick
