Installation & Maintenance

Setting up these blades requires careful handling due to their sharpness and specialized holders: 

· Blade Holder: They are typically used with dedicated holders for flatbed systems. To install, you usually unscrew the holder cap, insert the blade with the tip facing outward, and secure the cap back on.

· Depth Adjustment: The amount of blade protrusion is critical; it should only be enough to penetrate the material slightly to extend blade life and prevent damage to the cutting mat.

· Replacement Signs: Replace the blade if you notice jagged edges on cuts, if the material begins to "bunch up" during cutting, or if the tip is visibly chipped.
