Atom 01040175 is heavy-duty carbide (tungsten carbide) vibrating blade designed specifically for the Atom Flashcut HV1600 series of automatic digital cutting systems .The most notable feature of this model is its highly advanced and unique 5°-25°-10° three-stage composite cutting edge design (Triple-angle profile), which was specifically developed to balance high-speed penetration of thick, soft materials with steering precision in the face of extremely small turning radii.

The sharp 5° rake angle provides strong longitudinal penetration capability, the 25° main cutting edge ensures extremely high rigidity when side-cutting thick materials, and the 10° clearance angle greatly optimizes the rear clearance space when turning due to high-frequency vibration.

Adapter tool headSpecifically designed for the HV1600 heavy-duty cutter head series . This insert features a standard, high-rigidity 1.0 mm thick flat mounting shank , specifically designed for use with high-power pneumatic (POT) or electric (EOT) high-frequency vibrating chucks. It can withstand the enormous reverse impact forces generated when machining thick materials, preventing bending or breakage that may occur with ordinary thin inserts (such as 0.63 mm) under high-load turning.

Chip alignment of the tool holder chuck : Because the HV1600 tool head uses a 1.0mm high-strength flat mounting chuck, and this insert is primarily used for processing rubber scraps or cardboard fibers, the inside of the chuck must be thoroughly cleaned with compressed air each time the tool is changed . If tiny debris gets trapped on the side of the 1.0mm tool holder, it can cause a slight lateral deviation in force during high-frequency vibration, resulting not only in a beveled cut surface at a 12mm depth but also easily causing the delicate composite cutting tip to break off suddenly.

Cleaning Adhesive Surfaces : When continuously cutting adhesive-backed foam or sticky synthetic rubber, adhesive residue easily adheres to the complex cutting surfaces ranging from 5° to 25° to 10°. If burrs appear on the cutting surface or the machine's drag resistance increases, do not discard the blade directly . Use a specialized solvent to clean it; this usually restores the original sharpness of the carbide blade completely.
