Atom 01060216 tungsten carbide (hard alloy) octagonal/octagonal (8F / 8-Sided) polygonal circular rotary cutter is a high-precision powered circular blade specifically designed for use with the Italian Atom FlashCut CNC digital cutting system (Motorized Rotary Tool module).


This model belongs to Atom's classic 36mm outer diameter rotary cutter series , and its core feature is that it has 8 micro facets (8F/octagonal geometric cutting edge) . This design can perfectly balance "physical biting force" and "edge smoothness" when cutting at high speed.

Within Atom's 36mm rotary cutter family, the 8-faceted polygonal cutter (8F) offers a highly balanced option between "strong bite" and "continuous smoothness":

· The golden balance between shearing and sliding cutting : its blade edge is closer to a circle than a hexagonal blade (6F), resulting in less vibration and smoother cut edges during high-speed rolling cutting; at the same time, it has a deeper single-faceted edge than a decagonal blade (10F) and a hexagonal blade (16F), providing excellent anti-slip physical gripping force.

· To prevent textiles from pulling or being pushed : When the blades rotate at high speed, the eight micro-edges will generate continuous, slight pulse "shearing" impacts with the material, neatly cutting off the fibers before they can locally stack or shift.
