  • Smooth edges from down-cut processing : The down-cut chip removal design presses the cutting force downwards during machining, thus securing the material more tightly to the vacuum-sealed worktable. This design ensures that the top edge and surface of the machined material are extremely smooth, flat, and free of burrs .
  • Specifically developed for PMMA acrylic : Features exceptional sharpness, designed for processing high-end rigid acrylic panels such as Plexiglas and Perspex with a thickness not exceeding 20mm , as well as high-density protective foam. Its superior chip removal performance effectively prevents secondary melting and bonding of acrylic due to heat generated during cutting. 
Requirements for Cutting Tool Heads and Chucks
To use this 6mm diameter end mill properly on a Kongsberg digital cutting machine, the correct collet must be matched to the end mill spindle equipped with the current machine. 
  • Configuration 1 : If using the HSMU / MultiCUT (1kW) Ibag spindle , it needs to be paired with the official chuck part number 42444067 .
  • Configuration 2 : If using the MultiCUT (1kW) Kavo spindle , it needs to be paired with the official chuck part number 02721314 .
  • Configuration 3 : If using the HPMU (3kW) / MultiCUT HP (3kW) high-power spindle , then chuck 42454728 is required
