• Foam Boards & Thick Plastics: Excellent for thick PVC foam, expanded polystyrene, and various insulation foams where deep, vertical passes are required.
• Wood & MDF: Routs plywood, softwoods, and medium-density fiberboards cleanly up to its 20 mm threshold.
• Acrylics & Composites: While material-specific bits deliver a more polished finish on acrylic, this multi-purpose version provides high durability and reliable evacuation of chips on generic plastics and aluminum composite panels. 

• The Deflection Hazard: Because the routing diameter is narrow (3mm) but the cutting edge length is exceptionally long (20mm), this bit features a very high length-to-diameter ratio. It is highly prone to bending, deflection, and snapping if forced through tough materials too quickly.
• Feed Rate Management: You must drop your feed rates and consider managing deep cuts in multiple shallow passes (step-downs) rather than a single 20 mm deep plunge, especially when routing harder woods or dense plastics.
• Up-Cut Updraft: The single up-cut spiral design forces hot chips upward into your router module's vacuum cleaning kit. This minimizes the risk of plastic melting or welding back into the groove. 
• Setup Precision: When configuring this tool in Summa Axis Control, ensure you meticulously verify your Down Position origin over your protective mat to prevent damaging the elongated cutting tip.
