• Aluminum Composite Materials (ACM / Dibond): The 6 mm shank anchors the bit firmly to prevent chatter, while the 4 mm cutting tip cleanly routes out grooves and profiles. 
• Hardwoods, Plywood, & MDF: Slices through dense woods without burning, providing tight radius corners thanks to the smaller 4 mm cutting tip. 
• PVC & Solid Plastics: Ideal for processing acrylics, polycarbonates, and expanded foam sheets smoothly. 

• The "BAL" Advantage: The bit is dynamically balanced (BAL). This engineering detail minimizes vibration when spun inside the Summa F Series High-Frequency Router module, producing cleaner edge finishes and extending the life of the spindle bearings. 
• Stepped Geometry Resistance: Because the upper body is a thick 6 mm core, this bit handles much higher lateral force and feed speed than straight 4 mm bits (like the 500-9852). It gives you the narrow cuts of a 4 mm tool with the break-resistance of a 6 mm tool.
• Up-Cut Evacuation: Its single deep flute spiral scoops molten plastic and dust upward seamlessly, preventing debris from melting back down into the freshly cut track.
