For vinyl cutting and plotters, Clean Cut Blades are widely considered a premium upgrade for machines that use Roland-compatible blade holders. These machines include popular brands like USCutter (MH, SC2, Titan), Stika, Creation, and P-Cut.
Compatibility
Most "standard" vinyl cutters use a universal Roland-style blade. Clean Cut produces blades specifically designed to fit these holders for brands including:
Roland (Camm-1, GX Series)
USCutter (MH, SC2, Titan 1-3, PrismCut, LaserPoint 3)
Other Brands: Stika, Zecu, Creation, P-Cut, Bridge, Panther, Rabbit, Lynx, and Master.
Sharper Edge: They are typically much sharper than stock blades, requiring you to reduce your cutting pressure (downforce) by 30-50%.
Longevity: They are rated to last up to three times longer than standard blades.
Cleaner Weeding: Because the edge is polished to a micro-fine finish, they cut more cleanly, making it easier to weed intricate details without lifting the vinyl (avoiding "vinyl ears").
Pro Setup Tips
Blade Exposure: Only a tiny amount of the blade should be visible—roughly half the thickness of a credit card.
Test Cuts: Always perform a test cut after changing blades, especially with Clean Cut, since they require significantly less pressure.
Multiple Holders: Many users keep two separate blade holders—one with a 45° blade for standard vinyl and one with a 60° for specialty materials—to avoid constant manual adjustments.
