Atom 01030910 is carbide (tungsten carbide) vibrating blade designed specifically for the HV1600 heavy-duty tool series of the Atom Flashcut digital cutting system.It features a unique 11°-15° asymmetric bevel design, primarily designed for applications requiring high precision nesting and robust composite materials or thick sheet metal.

  • Cutting edge angle : 11° - 15° asymmetric profile, suitable for fine turning cuts.
  • Maximum cutting depth : 9.00 mm .
  • Blade thickness (shank) : 1.00 mm .
  • Compatible Tool Series : Designed specifically for the HV1600 cutter head series . This series features a reinforced 1.0mm flat mounting shank, effectively withstanding the enormous impact forces generated by pneumatic or electric high-frequency vibrating cutter heads when cutting hard or multi-layered composite materials, preventing blade micro-vibration or breakage.

This type of blade, due to its high rigidity and precise steering, is an ideal choice for precision cutting of high-strength industrial materials and is commonly used in:
  • Multilayer composite materials : multilayer carbon fiber prepreg, aramid (Kevlar), etc.
  • Precision corrugated packaging : of thick corrugated cardboard, heavy-duty honeycomb cardboard, and high-density grey board
  • High-density non-metallic parts : special industrial gaskets, dense rubber, and high-density leather for automotive and aerospace interiors.
Maintenance and Installation Tips
  1. Chuck Cleaning : Because the HV1600 uses a 1.0mm rigid flat mounting shank, debris inside the chuck must be thoroughly cleaned before installation . Forcibly locking a tool tip with impurities will cause microscopic high-frequency vibrations, which can easily lead to chipping of the fine cutting tip or burrs on the cutting edge.
  2. Surface adhesive removal : When cutting adhesive composite prepregs or synthetic rubber, residual adhesive can easily adhere to the 11°-15° cutting edge. Do not immediately declare the blade unusable ; instead, use a specialized solvent to clean it, which often restores its sharpness.
