Atom 0103B858 is high-grade carbide (tungsten carbide) vibrating blade specifically designed for the Atom Flashcut digital cutting system.It features a 0°-25° asymmetrical cutting edge design (often described as a 25°-0° single-sided bevel in some manufacturing standards), and is a signature upgrade consumable of the HV1600 series heavy-duty tool heads. It is widely used in high-speed digital cutting of industrial leather, high-density cardboard, and high-end footwear.

Chuck chip alignment : The HV1600 series uses a 1.0mm high-strength flat mounting chuck. Because processing leather and Texon boards generates a large amount of tiny fiber debris, the chuck must be thoroughly cleaned with compressed air before each blade change . If any debris is caught on one side of the 1.0mm shank, high-frequency vibration can cause a microscopic shift in the blade's perpendicularity, resulting not only in beveled edges on the cut pieces but also a high risk of sudden chipping of the delicate blade tip.

Cleaning Adhesive Surfaces : When cutting rubber, EVA, or sticky composite prepregs with adhesive backing, the 25° beveled edge is extremely prone to sticking to adhesive substances. If you feel burrs appearing on the cut edge or increased resistance when the machine is pulling, do not discard the blade directly . Instead, use a special solvent to clean and wipe the carbide surface, which can usually restore its original sharpness instantly
