Maintenance and Installation Recommendations

Tool holder cleaning : Before tightening 1.0mm thick HV1600 inserts, be sure to clean any debris from the chuck. Forcing installation into a legacy tool holder with impurities or improper tightening can cause slight tool head vibrations, resulting in jagged edges on the cut or even chipping the tool tip.
Removing Adhesive : When cutting sticky composite materials or synthetic rubber, adhesive can easily accumulate on the blade surface. If you notice increased cutting resistance, first clean the tungsten carbide blade with a specialized solvent; do not assume the blade is unusable.
