iEcho E26-3 Oscillating Knife Blades
IECHO E26-3 (and coated version E26-3C) vibrating bladeIt is a thickened carbide (tungsten carbide) CNC cutting tool specifically developed for the IECHO digital cutting system.Compared to the common E26-2, its biggest core upgrade is that the thickness has been increased to 1.0mm , making it specifically designed for heavy materials that are more rigid, harder, or more prone to blade deflection and deformation.
-
Material : Ultra-fine particle high-density hard alloy tungsten carbide.
-
Blade thickness : 1.00 mm (significantly greater than)E26-2(0.63mm thick, with excellent bending resistance) .
-
Blade height : 30.00 mm .
-
Blade width : 5.60 mm .
-
Maximum cutting depth : 8.7 mm - 10.00 mm .
-
Cutting angle : 22° / 63° double-edged angle .
-
Clamping shank : Flat 1.0mm (flat insert type, requires a 1mm tool holder for locking).
Optimal processing materials
Due to its ultra-thick 1.0mm body, the E26-3 is primarily designed to resist "blade deflection" and skewing during high-load cutting, making it extremely suitable for:
-
Heavy industrial seals : high-density oil-resistant rubber sheets, asbestos gaskets, and rigid fluororubber.
-
Heavy leather and bags : stiff, thick cowhide, car floor mats, multi-layered composite leather.
-
High-hardness composite materials : multi-layer prepreg, aramid fabric (Kevlar), and fiberglass board.
-
Thick packaging materials : heavy-duty high-strength corrugated cardboard, thick felt board.
System Control Integration: Cutter Server and Die Cutting Setup
-
Tool slots and tool magazine definitions :
-
Do not use E26-3 directly as the standard E26-2 in the "Tool Settings" or Die Cutting configuration within Cutter Server.
-
The blade thickness parameter must be checked in the software or manually updated to 1.0mm . Otherwise, when performing large-angle corner or closed curve (Die Cutting) cutting, the overcut compensation and offset calculated by the system will be inaccurate, resulting in corner distortion or incomplete cutting of the workpiece.
-
Machining process and overshoot adjustment :
-
Lift Height : Due to the thickness of the blade, it is strongly recommended to enable the "Lift Height" function in the software when turning at large angles to protect the blade tip and extend the life of the cutting mat.
-
Vibration Control (EOT Power) : The 1mm thickness of the E26-3 blade presents significant resistance when cutting into rigid materials. Ensure the drive unit (EOT electric vibration tool) outputs a stable 15000 RPM power output, and appropriately reduce the penetration speed by 10%-15% within the software, depending on the material.
-
Routine equipment maintenance :After each day's shutdown, the E26-3 should be removed from the tool holder and the rubber shavings or carbon fiber dust deposited in the chuck should be cleaned with an air gun and a special cleaning agent to prevent the 1mm tool holder from tilting due to dust accumulation.
