To prevent the surface layer of the material from tearing (chipping) :
- Pain point : When ordinary top-mounted chip cutters (UC) are cutting wood or composite boards with surface lamination, paint, veneer, or film coating, the upward pulling force is extremely easy to tear the surface, resulting in uneven edges.
- Objective :500-9866The cutting edge cuts into the material from above, pressing down to ensure that the upper surface edge of the workpiece is perfectly smooth and burr-free .
Processing wood veneers and grooves (mortise and tenon joints) :
- It is ideal for processing dovetail joints, finger joints, and shallow surface carvings for medium fiberboard (MDF), solid wood boards, and various laminated boards.
To prevent thin, easily loosened boards from warping :

Depth of cut per pass : Although its cutting length reaches 11mm, because the cutting diameter is only 3mm and it is a bottom chip removal (high chip removal pressure in the groove), when setting parameters in Summa GoProduce software , it is recommended to use multiple passes and control the depth of cut per pass to about 1 times the cutting diameter (3mm) to extend tool life
