What are the differences between the Iecho E19-2 E19-3 blades
The iEcho E19-2 and E19-3 are oscillating blades designed for use with iEcho digital cutting machines. While both blades share similarities in dimensions and materials, there are key differences that influence their cutting applications:
iEcho E19-2 Oscillating Blade:
- Dimensions: Height: 19.00 mm; Width: 4.00 mm; Thickness: 0.60 mm
- Cutting Angle: 15°/80°
- Maximum Cutting Depth: Up to 12.00 mm
- Recommended Materials: Suitable for cutting corrugated cardboard, corrugated plastic, foam board, folding carton, magnetic foil, paper, plastic, reflective foil, and various vinyls

iEcho E19-3 Oscillating Blade:
- Dimensions: Length: 18.00 mm; Width: 4.00 mm; Thickness: 0.63 mm
- Material: Manufactured from tungsten steel
- Recommended Applications: Ideal for cutting materials such as KT board, adhesive stickers, corrugated paper, paperboard, foamed PVC sheet, ABS board, gasket, tapetum lucidum, and other similar materials
Key Differences:
- Cutting Depth: The E19-2 blade is designed to cut up to 12 mm in depth, whereas the E19-3 blade is suitable for cutting materials up to 20 mm deep
- Material Compatibility: The E19-2 blade is versatile, handling a wide range of materials including various types of cardboard and plastics. In contrast, the E19-3 blade is optimized for thicker materials such as foamed PVC and ABS boards
When selecting between these blades, consider the specific material type and thickness you intend to cut. For standard applications involving thinner materials, the E19-2 blade is appropriate. For cutting thicker or more rigid materials, the E19-3 blade would be the better
