Design Mechanics & Performance
The R207 utilizes an up-cut spiral configuration that forces chips and debris rapidly upward out of the narrow 2.0 mm channel. Because a small 2mm cutting channel can easily clog and overheat, the polished single O-flute maximizes chip clearance to prevent heat tracking, burrs, or localized melting on heat-sensitive materials. The heavy 6.0 mm shank provides structural rigidity, damping spindle vibration to protect the fragile 2mm tip from snapping under high feed rates. 

Primary Material Applications
While classified under the "multipurpose" umbrella, the R207 is highly recommended for thin sheet routing, intricate profiling, and detailed cutouts: 
  • Composites: Aluminum Composite Materials (ACM/Dibond).
  • Soft Metals: Thin aluminum sheets, brass, and copper foils.
  • Plastics & Polymers: Acrylic (PMMA), Polycarbonate, PETG, and thin Expanded PVC. 

Machine Module Integration
The tool profile is pre-programmed into the Zund Cut Center (ZCC) material database for plug-and-play parameter configuration. It functions seamlessly across several Zund routing modules: 
  • RM-A / RM-A QC (Standard & Quick-Change Router Modules)
  • RM-L (3.6 kW Heavy-Duty Router Module)
  • RM-S (High-Speed Router Module)
  • R45-S Routing spindles

(Note: If your flatbed table is equipped with an Automatic Router-bit Changer (ARC) system, you will need to order the R207-A variant (Part Number: 5212253), which comes equipped with the required pre-fitted pneumatic calibration stop ring).
