COLEX T00335 is precision single-edge drag blade designed specifically for the Colex Sharpcut digital flatbed cutter , often referred to in the industry as the "Coroplast dedicated through-cutting blade".This model features specialized geometric optimizations for medium-thin rigid materials such as corrugated plastic sheets, designed specifically for achieving fast, high-quality through-cut cuts.

Core Technical Parameters

Maximum cutting depth : 4.0 ~ 6.9 mm (typically used for through cutting medium to thin sheets of about 4 mm or 6 mm).
Edge angle : 30° or 60° (Colex designates it as 30° to reduce frontal cutting resistance; some high-wear-resistant third-party versions use 60° to enhance tip rigidity).
Handle and physical dimensions :
- Dimensions : Overall length approximately 24 ~ 24.5 mm, handle width 4.0 mm.

Recommended materials

Although it is marketed as a knife specifically for Coroplast (hollow/corrugated plastic sheets), its sharp, ultra-thin single-blade construction makes it an excellent general-purpose consumable for multi-layer and rigid thin sheets.

Corrugated plastic sheet : The core application scenario, it can be perfectly cut horizontally or along the hollow ribs to cut through the plastic wall, with no whitening or burrs at the edges.
Semi-rigid plastics and advertising boards : thin foamed PVC board (Sintra 2mm or less), styrene sheet.
Heavy-duty packaging paper-based materials : corrugated stock, cardstock, folding boxes, and corrugated cardboard.
Flexible substrate rolls : thick reflective film (Foil), reflective vehicle wrap (Vinyl), and cardboard.

Coroplast (hollow board) processing and adjustment techniques

Pressure control for longitudinal and transverse ribs : The Cooplast has hollow "I"-shaped ribs inside. When using the T00335 for drag cutting, the resistance for transverse cutting (perpendicular to the rib direction) is significantly greater than that for longitudinal cutting (parallel to the rib direction) . If slight material deformation occurs due to resistance during transverse cutting, the feed rate for transverse cutting can be reduced by 15%-20% in the Colex software .
Chipping Prevention Tip : Because the T00335 is only 0.4mm thick, the blade body is relatively thin. If your machine's pitch speed is too high when cutting Cooplast , the continuous impact of the blade tip on the hard plastic surface can easily cause micro-chipping. It is recommended to enable "progressive pitch" or reduce the Z-axis pitch speed in the software
