Summa 500-9810 (also known as 500-0810) is a solid tungsten carbide oscillating knife blade designed for Summa F Series flatbed cutting systems. Unlike standard vinyl plotter knives, this blade is specially built for the high-torque Electronic Oscillating Tool (EOT) module, making it ideal for cutting thick, soft-to-medium density industrial packaging and graphic media.

The EOT module drives this blade up and down at up to 12,000 rpm with a short 1 mm stroke. This high-frequency mechanical action allows the 500-9810 / 500-0810 blade to easily glide through materials that stick to or deflect under standard drag knives:

Corrugated Board: Ideal for multi-wall corrugated paperboard variants including B, C, and E flutes (1.5mm to 4mm).
Foam & Sandwich Panels: Soft polyurethane (PUR) core foamboards up to 10mm thick wrapped in paper liners.
Display Media: Honeycomb core boards under 10mm, corrugated plastics (Coroplast), and heavy folding cartons.
Industrial Specialties: Dense rubber gasket compositions, thick felt accents, flexible magnetic foils, and heavy polyester fabrics.
