Compared to the E26-4 (0.63mm thick), the E26-5 maintains a short body with high rigidity ( 27mm) while significantly increasing the tool body thickness to 1.0mm . This "short and thick" physical structure gives it excellent resistance to yaw deformation when misisachining rigid, hard composite materials that withstand extremely high resistance.

With its 1.0mm thickness and short blade's high rigidity, the E26-5 is recognized in the industry as a powerful tool for handling the following high-hardness, high-resilience, or multi-layered dense composite soft materials :

System Control Integration: Cutter Server Key Process Configuration
To successfully run the E26-5 blade in the IECHO Cutter Server , the operator must strictly verify and adjust the following software parameters; otherwise, blade breakage or out-of-tolerance cutting dimensions are highly likely:

Dual calibration of thickness and tool setting parameters (Tool Specification) :

Height Check : Since the height is only 27mm, if you are switching from a 30mm long tool (such as E26-2/E26-3), you must modify the height to 27.00mm in the Tool Library and re-execute the automatic tool initialization to prevent it from being unable to cut into the material due to the 3mm reduction in length.

⚠️Thickness verification : The tool thickness in the software must be set to 1.0mm for the system to correctly perform kerf/offset compensation at corners.

Large-angle offset and overshoot compensation (Overcut & 5°/68° offset) :

Because the E26-5 uses a special 5°/68° cutting angle , its knife offset is more unique than that of a conventional symmetrical double-edged tool.

When performing die cutting or closed curve cutting in the software, the overcut must be finely adjusted to ensure that the thick material can be perfectly closed at the start and end of the high-speed cut, avoiding the physical defect of "skin and wires hanging together".

Drive and speed settings (EOT axis process) :

When used with an electric vibratory cutting tool (EOT, such as a servo cutter head with 15,000 RPM), a thickness of 1.0 mm results in high frictional resistance and high heat generation when cutting into composite materials.

It is strongly recommended to enable the "Lift Height on Corner" function in Cutter Server and appropriately reduce the penetration speed to protect the valuable tungsten carbide tip from being snapped off instantly.
