In B&W's platform, this blade cannot be used with ordinary unpowered Thru Cut cutters; it must be installed in the following power module:

Electric Oscillating Knife : Driven by a high-frequency 12,000 RPM motor with a stroke of approximately 0.7mm. When used with this knife, the BW17 can perfectly cut extremely complex graphics.
Air Oscillating Knife : This blade provides a long-stroke shearing force of 8mm using a powerful pneumatic pressure of 9,000 RPM. It is often used for materials such as medium-density foamed soft rubber.
Compatible cutting bed models : Fully compatible with Blackman & White's Genesis-V series and Mastercut series large-format CNC flatbed cutting systems.
