Valiani Cutting Knife Blades

1. Classic multi-purpose cardboard cutter blades (Drag / Bevel Cut Blades)

These types of blades are mainly used for bevel or straight edge cutting of framing, matboard, cardboard, and grey board.

Valiani L100 (50° angle)The most popular universal standard long-life blade. Perfectly compatible with Green 40° , White 90° , and Grey tips, commonly used in Astra, Mat Pro-i, Supreme-is, and CMC series blades.
Valiani L100B (38° angle)Commonly known as the "blue-headed blade" (used with a blue 45° blade tip). Its narrower angle is optimized for small-radius, complex pattern designs and high-precision detail cutting.
L1W40 / L1W46: Corresponds to L100 andL100BThe advanced version of tungsten carbide (hard alloy) has a significantly improved lifespan and is specifically designed for high-wear, high-density hard materials.

2. Color and material matching comparison of cutting head

Valiani's Interchangeable Heads system has strict requirements for blade and material compatibility:

Green 40° Greenhead:assemblyL100Blade for engraving 6-ply standard cardstock, double-ply cardstock, or V-Groove (thickness not exceeding 2.3mm) .
Red 45° : Used for making a 45° bevel cut from the front.
White 90° Whitehead:assemblyL100Or specific Widia blades for vertical straight edge cuts, kiss-cuts, and foam board and corrugated cardboard up to 6.3mm thick .

3. Digital cutting and oscillating blades (Oscillating & Tangential Blades)

For industrial packaging, advertising signage, and post-printing finishing machines (such as Valani Optima, Maximus, Geminus, etc.):

Valiani 002157 (Carbide T-17)A type of 25° angled carbide vibrating blade, commonly used on white or gray-tipped cutters for rapid cutting of folded cardboard boxes, PVC, magnetic stickers, and self-adhesive films.
Valiani 001897 (TC-25)/ 001898 (TC-15) / 001899 (TC-10) : Carbide vibrating blades with a 6mm round shank (with a flat Weldon retaining groove). The numbers correspond to maximum cutting depths of 25mm, 15mm, and 10mm respectively, suitable for processing honeycomb panels, thick rubber and plastic mats, leather, felt, and heavy corrugated paper.
